<H3>Deleting Messages</H3>
<P>To delete an open Eudora message&mdash;that is, move it to the Trash mailbox&mdash;do 
  one of the following while the message is still open:</P>
<UL><LI>Click the <B>Delete</B> button on the main Eudora toolbar.</LI></UL><BR>
  
<UL><LI>Select <B>Transfer&gt;Trash</B>.</LI></UL><BR>
  
<UL><LI>Select <B>Message&gt;Delete</B>.</LI></UL>
<P>To delete one or more messages in an open mailbox window, select their message 
  summaries, and either perform one of the above three actions or perform this 
  fourth:</P>
<UL>
  <LI>Press the <B>Delete</B> key on your keyboard.</LI>
</UL>
<P>To undo any of the above options, select <B>Edit&gt;Undo</B> or open the Trash 
  mailbox (<B>Mailbox&gt;Trash</B>), select the messages, and either transfer 
  them to another mailbox using the <B>Transfer</B> menu, or drag them to another 
  mailbox in the open Mailboxes window (<B>Window&gt;Mailboxes</B>).</P>
<P>To remove a message permanently from your Macintosh, then after you have moved 
  it to the Trash mailbox using one of the deletion methods above, either select 
  <B>Special&gt;Empty Trash</B>, or open the Trash mailbox (<B>Mailbox&gt;Trash</B>), 
  select the desired message(s), and press the <B>Delete</B> key, or click the 
  <B>Delete</B> toolbar button, or select <B>Message&gt;Delete</B>.</P>
<P><B>Note:</B> Messages permanently removed from your Macintosh cannot be recovered.</P>
